1. Introduction
ArtSol ("we," "us," "our") operates AutoPilot ("the App"), a general-purpose device interaction automation tool for Android. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 License Information
When you activate the App, we collect:
- License Key — the activation key you enter
- Device Identifier — an anonymous Android device ID (ANDROID_ID) used solely to bind your license to one device
- Activation and validation timestamps — to manage license validity and detect unauthorized use
2.2 Device Information
When the App connects to our server for license validation, we collect basic device metadata:
- Device model and manufacturer (e.g., "Samsung Galaxy S24")
- Android version and API level (e.g., "Android 14, SDK 34")
- App version and build number
- Screen resolution and display density
This information is used solely for technical support, compatibility diagnostics, and service improvement. It does not include any personally identifiable information.
2.3 Usage Analytics and Diagnostics
To improve the App, we collect anonymous usage statistics:
- Automation execution data — which automation rule templates are used, success/failure counts. No screen content, text, images, or data from third-party applications is included.
- Scenario configuration reporting — the names and enabled status of your configured automation rules, along with their configuration counts (e.g., number of conditions and actions). This does not include any screen content those rules act upon. This allows us to provide technical support and understand which features are most useful.
- Session data — monitoring session duration and frequency
- Diagnostic events — automation step transitions, tap results (success/failure), and timing data to identify and resolve technical issues
Heartbeat communication: While the App's automation service is active, it communicates with our server approximately once per minute to verify license validity, sync diagnostic data, and check for suggested automation configurations. This communication includes the device information described in Section 2.2, scenario configuration summaries, and any pending diagnostic events. When the automation service is not active, no heartbeat communication occurs.
This data is linked only to your license key — not to your name, email, identity, or any personally identifiable information. This data may be processed using automated tools, including artificial intelligence, solely for the purpose of improving the App.
2.4 Remote Configuration Suggestions
We may send suggested automation configurations to your device through our administrative tools. These suggestions are intended to help you set up or optimize your automation rules.
- Suggested configurations are never automatically applied — you must explicitly accept each suggestion before it takes effect on your device
- You can reject any suggestion, and rejections are recorded so that repeated unwanted suggestions are not sent
- Accepting a suggestion adds it to your local automation rules, which you can further modify or delete at any time
2.5 Feedback
If you voluntarily submit feedback through the App, we collect the message text and optional star rating. This is linked to your license key for context. We do not collect personal information through feedback unless you voluntarily include it in your message.
2.6 Email Address
If you provide your email address during license purchase or support requests, we store it solely for:
- License key recovery in case of device loss or reset
- Responding to your support requests
- Critical service notifications (e.g., license expiration, security alerts)
We will never use your email for marketing, advertising, newsletters, or promotional communications. We will never sell, rent, or share your email with third parties.
2.7 Information We Do NOT Collect
AutoPilot does NOT collect, store, transmit, or have access to:
- Screen content, screenshots, images, or text displayed by third-party applications
- Personal data, contacts, call logs, messages, emails, or photos
- Passwords, authentication tokens, financial information, or payment data
- Location data, GPS coordinates, or movement patterns
- Browsing history, search queries, or web activity
- Any data, content, or proprietary information from third-party applications
- Audio, video, camera recordings, or microphone data
- Biometric data (fingerprints, face recognition, voice prints)
All screen reading, content analysis, and automation decision-making occurs entirely on your device. No screen content, text from third-party applications, screenshots, or visual data is ever transmitted to our servers or any third party. The only data transmitted to our servers is the anonymous metadata described in Sections 2.1–2.5 above.
2.8 Accessibility Service Data
AutoPilot uses Android Accessibility Service to read on-screen UI elements and perform automated actions (taps, swipes) on your behalf.
- Screen content (text, images, UI elements from third-party applications) is processed locally on your device in real-time and is never stored, logged, cached, or transmitted to any server
- The App uses screen data exclusively to evaluate your configured automation rules and execute actions, then discards it immediately
- Separate from screen content, the App collects anonymous metadata about automation events (as described in Section 2.3) — such as "rule executed successfully" or "tap failed" — which does not include any text, images, or content from third-party applications
3. How We Use Information
The limited information we collect is used solely to:
- Verify and manage your license activation
- Prevent unauthorized use of license keys
- Provide technical support and license recovery
- Improve the App based on anonymous, aggregated usage patterns
- Diagnose and fix technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored on secure servers with encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS 1.2+). We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest
- Access controls and authentication for all administrative systems
- Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Automated backups with encryption
Despite these measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Sharing
We do NOT sell, trade, rent, or lease your information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- AI processing providers: We use third-party artificial intelligence services (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar providers) to analyze aggregated, anonymized usage data, diagnostics, and feedback for the purpose of improving the App. Data shared with AI providers may include: usage analytics, diagnostic events, feedback messages, and device metadata. No screen content, passwords, financial data, or data from third-party applications is ever shared. These providers process data under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
- Infrastructure providers: We use third-party services for cloud hosting (AWS), payment processing (Stripe), and email delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations.
- Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request.
- Legal protection: We may disclose information to protect our legal rights, enforce our Terms, or defend against legal claims.
By using the App, you consent to the processing of your data (as described in Section 2) by third-party AI and infrastructure providers for the purposes stated above.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- License records: Retained for the duration of your active license plus 90 days after expiration, then automatically deleted
- Usage analytics and diagnostics: Automatically deleted from our servers after 60 days
- Heartbeat metadata: Device info and scenario snapshots are retained as long as the license is active, then deleted with the license record
